Developed final Foldscope microscope design in Solidworks and executed rapid iteration on laser cutter. 500,000 Foldscope units have sold in 130 countries since launch in 2017. Used Solidworks to design production machines for in-house manufacturing line. Constructed these machines in machine shop (laser cutter, solder, etc) and wired using electronics knowledge. Created brand design for international shipping boxes.
